Friends of the Duesseldorf Faculty of Law

                   D.I.P. Duesseldorf Internship Program

The Association of ‘Friends of the Law Faculty’ was founded in 1997. We support the faculty in teaching and research financially and intellectually, promote the exchange of ideas among our members and with the local bar, and, not least, offer our graduates the opportunity to stay connected to each other and to their alma mater.

 Our association supports studies abroad, awards doctoral fellowships, gives publication grants, and finances courses. The association currently has about 700 members.

 At the beginning of the winter semester 2007/2008, the Friends of Duesseldorf Faculty of Law developed a new concept and a substantially expanded program. Besides a newsletter, which appears at regular intervals, a national and international internship program was started.

 Our association is currently laying the groundwork for an international internship program -- the Duesseldorf Internship Program (DIP) -- for our more than 500 members who are German law students and trainee lawyers.

 If you are interested in contacts to excellent German law students and trainee lawyers, The DIP will help manage the process for your firm

 We will distribute information about your firm and manage the application procedure for you based on your guidelines.

Afterwards we will present you with a list of potentially suitable candidates, as indicated by your guidelines.  The Internship program is intended to make finding motivated, well-qualified German interns and trainee lawyers as efficient and reliable as possible.
